LOROM Expands R&D Efforts, Welcoming Mr. Manfred Sikora as Chief Technology Advisor.
New position aims to enhance LOROM’s global leadership in cable interconnect solutions for harsh environments.
LOROM, an industry leader in global cable, connectivity and OEM product solutions manufacturing, is pleased to announce its recent hire of Manfred Sikora as Chief Technology Adviser. In his role as Chief Technology Advisor, Mr. Sikora will leverage his proven background in material science and process engineering of high temperature compounds.
Reporting to Mr. Henning Hansen, COO of LOROM North America, Mr. Sikora will lead the R&D teams in the US, UK, Germany, Taiwan and in China. He will be focused on enhancing LOROM’s ability to proactively serve markets in need of cable interconnect solution excellence, including harsh environmental applications where extreme temperatures and exposure to chemicals come into the operating environment.
Mr. Sikora brings over twenty-five years of experience within the cable and electronic manufacturing industry. Prior to joining LOROM, he served as the General Manager and President of Leoni High Temperature Solutions GmbH, developers and manufacturers of high temperature cabling and held leadership positions at HEW Kable Germany. In addition, Mr. Sikora has significantly contributed to innovation and design for a number of products designed for Fortune 500 companies, has helped develop international industry standards and has co-authored numerous technical conference papers.
