On top of that, in the migration of the local area network, Montrose became one of the leading companies engineering the IBM cabling System and LAN category cable products with Digital Equipment Corporation, otherwise known as Category 5 and 6.
Later, in the mid to late 90’s, Montrose led the standardization of Category 7 cables enabling today’s internet speed in excess of 700 Mhz.
Montrose is known for quality products in networking, building automation, and 40-100GB/s high-speed datacenter cabling products. Other Montrose markets include robotic and high flex cables, medical cables and subsystems, RF and microwave coaxial cables.
