LOROM offers an extensive portfolio of cable types and materials from which to choose. Our in-house wire and cable manufacturing facility is capable of processing many types of conventional thermoplastic materials for primary wire insulation and cable outer jackets, including PVC, PP, TPE and TPU materials.
We can also process many specialty fluoropolymer and cross-linkable materials for extremely rugged environments that require higher performance or higher temperatures such as XLPE, FEP, PTFE, ETFE and Silicone (see our Tygadure range).
Because of our vertically integrated philosophy regarding product design, tooling design, testing and manufacturing, LOROM can maintain total in-house control of the key processes required for manufacturing cable and value added electronic assemblies, including copper wire drawing, insulation formulation, wire/cable extrusion, over-molding, injection molding, screw machining and PCB assembly.
